Arguably one of the most famous sunglasses ever worn – The Manhattan is an exact replica of the iconic sunglasses worn by Audrey Hepburn as Holly Golightly in Truman Capote’s ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s.

Originally designed by Oliver Goldsmith, this frame has gone on to inspire countless interpretations, but nothing comes close to the beautiful shaping of this classic and celebrated design. The frame is embossed with the date of its original production; 1960.

While your sunglasses have been designed and manufactured under the highest quality standards in the industry, it is important that they are properly cared for.

If you follow these simple guidelines, your sunglasses should provide you with many years of enjoyment. 

Clean your lenses regularly with a clean cotton cloth using mild soap and water.

Place lenses under warm running water to remove particles of dirt and dust.

Dry gently with a clean cotton cloth.

Do not use dirty or abrasive cloths which could alter the feature of their filters

Never loosen or remove any of the screws.

Avoid extreme conditions of heat and cold, like the dashboard of your car.

Keep your sunglasses in their protective case when they are not being worn.

Love These Iconic Sunglasses (Update)

This is my 2nd pair, purchased to replace the ones I lost on a train in Japan. I love them as much as I did the first pair. They are beautiful sunglasses, so timeless and well-made. They don’t fit as snugly on my face as the other pair did though and I fear they might slip off at some point, but not sure how or where to get them adjusted - a concern about buying glasses online, it seems! Other than that, they are perfection!

Due to the nature of cotton acetate, these can be heated and manipulated to create the perfect fit - please ensure you get an optician to do this for you.
