The 1970’s was, in fashion terms, an era of exaggeration and the Gopas is a perfect example of this. The humble aviator was updated, enlarged and modernised, resulting in this bold and contemporary sunglass.
Made from the finest cotton acetate and featuring an exaggerated key-hole bridge, heavy flattop and premium UVA/UVB sun lenses as standard.
Originally designed in 1972 the Gopas is an adventurous aviator. Gopas are a tribe or caste of fighting kinsmen based in Mumbai, we’re not sure why the frames were named after them, but this is certainly a rebellious frame. With its exaggerated key-hole bridge and defiant flattop the Gopas is a true showstopper. 57☐17-140
